“No Horse” by The Dead Weather

There are some albums I love that don’t always love me back—records so fierce I have to be in a certain mood to play them.  Like The Velvet Underground’s White Light/White Heat, Slayer’s Reign In Blood, or Reatards’ Teenage Hate.  Here’s another one: Sea Of Cowards.  I think of this as The Dead Weather’s first true album (whereas Horehound was a great collection of songs).  This is a record you’re meant to listen to from beginning to end.  And if your ears bleed, well, so be it.
